Another problem with night showering is, by the time you are ready to get your pj's on, you're too tired for a shower.

I'm a first time reader, but I like what you've written so far.

so simple but hearing someone else say it really put it into perspective for me. thank you so much. lets hope this gets me off to a better start each day and improves my life as a whole. one question though. what time do you find yourself going to sleep each night? i say up until 2 sometimes when i'm stuck on a problem or just really enjoying browsing the net. how do you pull away and decide when enough is enough?

Hey David, getting married quickly put an end to the staying up until 2AM for me :) Mainly because she would get up at 6:30 for work and that would wake me up...so running on 4 hours of sleep didn't really cut it for me.

But basically, I try to go to bed and get up at the same time every single day. I usually stop browsin' around 9:30 or so and then lay in bed until about 10:30 reading or something of the sort and then get up around 6:30.

This brings me back to the word "routine"...that's a key here. A schedule really nixes a lot of the random 2AM nights.
